Simply put, Amy is a food enthusiast. Originally from Nashville, Amy found her way to New York to obtain her masters in nutrition, after which she entered the culinary world. From there, food has played many roles in both her professional and personal life, all of which enabled her to recognize the need for a culinary community online. When she’s not working on I’m In The Kitchen you can find her cooking for her family and friends, blogging on The Crunchy Carrot, and exploring cities in search of inspiration.

David Mittman, Co-Founder

David found his niche in the culinary industry from a young age purely by partaking in the daily commotion in his family kitchen. In his professional career, David has played many roles in his beloved industry including graduating with the highest honors from the Institute of Culinary Education. Working in one of New York City’s top restaurants gave him the insider’s knowledge integral to I’m In The Kitchen’s successful cutting edge online network. David loves rooting for his favorite New York teams and preparing flavorful dishes that his friends and family loves.
