Eggs Travagnza Cart
This may come as a surprise, but not all breakfast carts in Midtown are created equal. This one definitely doesn’t serve your average stale pastry, bitter coffee or cement bagels, they not only sell eggselent egg sandwiches but this brother and sister duo, Maribel and Arturo Macedo make from scratch pancakes and banana milkshakes.
IITK Pick: Chorizo, egg and cheese on a roll.
Midtown East: NE corner of 52nd street and Park; (917) 657-0987
Joseph Leonard
Chef James McDuffee can do no wrong in my eyes, and breakfast is no egg-ception! There are a number of items to choose from but the egg sandwich is out of this world. Be sure to get the platter or order a side of brussels sprouts with sriracha, they won’t dissapoint.
IITK Pick: Breakfast Sandwich Platter, buttery croissant, manchego cheese, local eggs, side order of brussels sprouts with sriracha

Maialino
I know what you’re thinking, they’re known for their pork not their eggs. But wouldn’t you know- that’s the perfect duo. Their roasted pork and fried egg sandwich served on ciabatta is full of flavor. My mouth is watering just thinking about it…

Murray’s Melts (inside Murray’s Cheese)
We know, this place isn’t known for their eggs either, they’re known for their cheese. But what doesn’t go with cheese? Cheese makes everything better and in their case, their delicious cheese is the star of their breakfast melt.

Court Street Grocers
Sometimes the best sandwiches come from the deli counter at your local grocery store. In this case, their best sandwich is their egg sandwich. You know the produce, meat and cheese are fresh because they pluck it straight from their inventory.
