Did July 4th creep up on you? In case you haven’t made any plans, there are a few events in the city that will guarantee a good time. There is something for everyone on this list to do before catching the Macy’s Fireworks show on the Hudson River at 9pm. With the party being only a day away, snag a ticket before the prices go up for day-of entry.

Pig Out at Blaue Gans’ from 2:00pm – 8:00pm for their $35 all you can enjoy whole roasted pig, Schaller & Weber sausages, fresh salads and a Viennese Cake Bar by Chef Kurt Gutenbrunner. (2-8pm)

 

Underground Eats presents “Game On: Crif Dog Classic at Roberta’s” featuring the world’s greatest eater, Takeru Kobayashi. From 11:00am-3:00pm at Roberta’s in Brooklyn (261 Moore Street) $75 will get you access to the VIP section, unlimited Crif Dogs, Buds, Kirin, mimosas and 1 Roberta’s pizza (you could splurge for the $125 ticket which includes a night-before party at Southern Hospitaly BBQ in Hell’s Kitchen and more).

 

Want the best view of the fireworks? Join the Private Pier Party with Circle Line! Doors open at 4:00pm with carnival games, music, activities and food and beverages for purchase. The $89 ticket also includes a 75 minute ride on the Circle Line.

 

Hudson Terrace is putting on their annual Fireworks Viewing Party with 4 hours of top shelf open bar and BBQ from 6:30pm-10:30pm for $135 (GA) or $110 (patio seating). Tickets are nearly sold out so be sure to get a seat soon!

 

Time Out NY is exclusively offering the Fourth of July Barbecue at Tipsy Parson for $50 from 12:00-8:00pn. It includes a family style feast and two drinks, and there’s plenty to eat on the menu.

 

Chef’s are getting festive too! Chef Floyd Cardoz of North End Grill is featuring 2 July 4th specials: a North End Grill Shellfish Bake with littleneck clams, mussels, blue crab, wild striped bass, sausage, corn potato, carrot and spices And a Fried Calamari PO-boy!
