It’s the participants read like a who’s who of Sausage Kings and one of our I’m In The Kitchen chef’s, Kurt Gutenbrunner of Blaue Gans, is a favorite for the event. He is joined by other notables from Katz’s Delicatessen, Pete Zaaz, der Kommissar, Esposito’s, Open Kitchen and Schaller & Weber.
And there’s only one way to wash down that wurst, with a nice, cold, refreshing brewsky. Alongside these Chefs innovative creations will be the Radeberger Pilsner tallboys, but don’t let them cloud your judgement too much because you’ll be voting on your favorite of the wursts.

So here’s the deal: the pop up runs from noon to 8pm on August 4th at Openhouse Gallery [379 Broome Street btwn Mott and Mulberry] and a $35 ticket, sold exclusively here, gets you 1 hour of artisinal, hand-crafted wursts, six homemade sides like skewered tomato mozzarella salad and chickpea tagine, and a Radeberger Pilsner tall boy. They’ll even have lounging Fatboys on hand. So grab a ticket before it sells out, and spend your Saturday lounging on a Fatboy with a wursts in one hand and a beer in the other.
