Try Ming Tsai’s banana split… or else.
We’ve extolled the virtues of ice cream in summer time, and with a few months of blazing heat still left here in New York we’re game to try this Asian-inspired recipe for a banana split from top chef Ming Tsai. It only has a few out-of-the-way ingredients, like a bittersweet ganache and Tahitian Vanilla ice cream (which you can substitute with any premium store-bought vanilla ice cream), and also calls for some interesting inclusions like lime and dark rum.
