Cabaret at Cafe Sabarsky

IMG_7564 (640x427)

“Cabaret at Café Sabarsky in the Neue Galerie continues its unique series devoted primarily to German and Austrian music of the 1890s to 1930s, some of the most fertile and volatile music created in the modern era. The intimate 60-seat room is exquisitely appointed with period objects, including lighting fixtures by Josef Hoffmann and furniture by Adolf Loos, and features a Yamaha S4 grand piano.

All performances are at 9 p.m., preceded by a prix-fixe dinner at 7 p.m. Combined cost is $110 (dinner $65, performance $45; purchased together).”
